This should be another great year for both the boys and girls track teams. There are a total of six events for both the boys and girs track matches. A new event was added to the girl's track team this year, pole-vaulting.

Last year both teams finished with great records, and the girl's track team finished as CIC Champions. The boy's track team finished with a second place finish at the CIC Tournament.

The boys track team also broke many school records last year. Senior AJ Morrison and Matt Helm, junior Tyson Good, and freshmen Trent Duhamell broke the 3200 meter relay race record while junior Kyle Cantrell broke the individual record in discus last year.

Senior Matt Helm and freshmen Trent Duhamell ran at Semi-State for the boys cross country team this year. They both will be running for our track team this upcoming season.

Some goals for this year's boys track team include winning both the County Tournament and the Conference Tournament. This season the girl's track team goals include winning the County Tournament and the Conference Tournament. They both have a lot of great runners returning to the team and hope to have another great season.
